Vista El Mar - Newsletter 6 (March 2008)

Hi Vista El Mar students, newcomers and friends.

First of all Happy New year to you all. I know its a bit late but there has not been a newsletter since December. As planned, the trip to Nemo 33 went ahead, unfortunately a couple of people had to pull out at the last minute due to illness but all who went enjoyed the experience not only of the dive but also the Eurostar.

Trips

The trip to Malta 2^nd to 7^th May is all sorted with ten people going. Unfortunately this trip filled up straight away so there are no more places left. Hopefully it will prove to be as good if not better than last year.
I am also taking 7 from Fakenham College who are currently doing their Duke of Edinburgh award from the 2^nd to 6^th April, again to Malta, both trips and reports will be posted on our return. As for future trips nothing is arranged yet, and I am asking as many people as possible where they would like to go before i post it on here so let me know!!!!

Courses

We have all sorts starting this month and running in to May. Rescue: 3 people are taking this course. Advanced 6 people are doing this over the next three months. Navigation, Specialty, Nitrox and open water with pool sessions going on and refreshers. Its time to get your kit out get it serviced and get wet again!

Pool Sessions

I will be running a pool session on the 30^th March at Bircham, cost is £20 a head and again at the end of April. So if you would like to come along email or call 07774 253661.
