Hi Vista El Mar students friends and newcomers,
Apologies for not posting a news letter sooner !!!!!
Congratulations go this time to Stacey Hargrave for finally compleating her Divemaster, also congratulations go to Kirsten Beck who completed her Junior Open Water course at a chilly Stony Cove all togged up in a dry suit!! And finally Sharon Brierly who completed her Emergency First Response course.
Trips
Our regular trip to Malta will go ahead the first weekend in May 09; the 1st til the 6th approx. Costs are £175 flights and £10 a night accomodation. You need to let us know as soon as possible as its filling up!!!!
We are hoping we have enough people wanting to go to Nemo 33 in Belgium the last week in Jan 09, date to follow. Again let me know as soon as you can if you would like to come. You can see last years trip on the trips tab.
Courses
If anyone is interested in any courses let us know, we have 4 people carrying out their Advanced Open Water courses in the new year and yet another Nitrox course in January!!
General
There will be a pool session at Bircham Newton on the 23rd November 1.30pm til 3.30pm, numbers permitting. Please let me know if you would like to attend.
As we enter the cold times when people start hanging up their equipment, remember you will need to get your stuff serviced before it sees the light of day again and keep the insurance upto date ready for the spring. Let me know if you want to join the gang for a drink and I will pass your number onto Karl our unofficial social secetary.
